Aim Statement: Reducing Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) length of stay and readmission at Peace Arch Hospital by engaging physicians and allied health care workers to implement best practices.

Currently: The implementation of standard order sets has been used to assess the effect on length of stay (LOS), readmission frequency, and characteristics of those admissions.

Next Steps: Reassessment of the 2021 data set is being analyzed to determine if education pertaining to preprinted orders has made an impact on outcome measures of the project.
