The purpose of this site is to showcase a Dashboard of Collaborative opportunities for Fraser Health physicians interested in Innovation in the Lifesciences Sector”.
Lifesciences refers to the application of biology and technology to health improvement, including biopharmaceuticals, medical technology, genomics, diagnostics in digital health.
Our Aim
The aim of PAH Engage Innovation is to bridge the gap between FH clinicians and the BC-Canada Life science ecosystem. The intent of the project will be to establish a robust Tech-Transfer Initiative and Incubator within Fraser Health. An Incubator helps physician entrepreneurs flesh out ideas leading to the development of a viable product or service. It includes mentorship and educational resources. The technology transfer office is the “partner” in developing a Commercialization plan for innovation. They form a great resource, they can be the link to commercial partners and can help assess, based on their contacts with industry partners, whether or not the innovation is commercially viable.
This local site initiative will help with navigating the collaborative landscape in the Life sciences. It will incorporate digital health, pharma and medical devices and health care systems.
